About the Author

David Toms is an acclaimed novelist and short story writer. His work has been praised for its suspenseful plots, well-developed characters, and beautiful prose.

Toms was born in a small town in the Midwest. He began writing at an early age, and by the time he was in high school, he had already published several short stories in literary magazines.

After graduating from college, Toms moved to New York City, where he worked as a journalist and editor. He published his first novel, The Last Place on Earth, in 2005. The novel was a critical and commercial success, and it was followed by several more bestselling novels.

Toms now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his next novel.
