In 1930, six of the most renowned mystery writers of the Golden Age of Detective Fiction came together to form the Detection Club. The members of the club were Agatha Christie, G.K. Chesterton, Dorothy L. Sayers, Ronald Knox, Anthony Berkeley, and Miles Burton. The club's goal was to promote the art of detective fiction and to set standards for the genre.

In this classic tale of detection, a wealthy businessman is found dead in his study. The only clue is a mysterious peppermill that was found next to the body. Sir Henry Merrivale, the famous detective, is called in to investigate and must use all of his skills to solve the baffling crime.
