Synopsis

White Man Game is a powerful and moving novel that tells the story of two young men, one black and one white, who are forced to confront their own racial identities and the ways in which they are shaped by the society in which they live.

The novel opens with the two young men, Marcus and Ethan, meeting at a summer camp. Marcus is a bright and ambitious black teenager who is determined to succeed in life. Ethan is a white teenager who is struggling to find his place in the world. The two boys quickly become friends, but their friendship is tested when they are confronted with the realities of race in America.

As the novel progresses, Marcus and Ethan are forced to confront their own racial identities and the ways in which they are shaped by the society in which they live. The two boys learn to see the world from each other's perspectives, and they develop a deep understanding of the complex issues of race in America.
