About the Author
Bernard O'Donoghue is an Irish poet, novelist, and biographer. He is the author of over thirty books, including the award-winning biographies of W.B. Yeats and Patrick Kavanagh.
O'Donoghue is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a member of the Irish Academy of Letters. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the T.S. Eliot Prize and the Whitbread Biography Award.
