About the Author

Noel Pearson is a lawyer, academic, and activist who has been at the forefront of the fight for Indigenous rights and reconciliation for over three decades. He is the founder of the Cape York Institute for Policy and Leadership, and he has served as a member of the Prime Minister's Indigenous Advisory Council.

Pearson is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Free Download of Australia and the Human Rights Medal. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia.
